Why do we like this?

Seems I'm a little behind when it comes to Bronx-born singer/songwriter Maxine Ashley.

Already a viral sensation with more than 9 million vies on her YouTube page and having worked with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, and K'naan, it's her latest single "Lobster" that's got me hot under the collar.

Merging experimental R&B with urban pop sounds, "Lobster" is a trippy, downtempo offering inspired by her Grandma's love of cooking lobsters. Ashely's striking vocals create an infectious feel with "Lobster," making it one tune you'll have on repeat for hours.
