Why do we like this?

I'm relatively certain that we all have at least one decent song in our bones. Even if most of us will never get signed, never be heard outside a small circle of friends, never top the Spotify charts, we still have creativity inside us.

I think that's what makes Melis's music so enchanting. It sounds like something made quietly, without fuss, in a bedroom or basement or porch. "Flower" is that special kind of pop vibe that tricks you into thinking it's easy to write and sing and perform. The beauty of art is how it inspires more art. Kudos to Melis for bridging that gap so elegantly.
