Metronomy The Look (MGMT Remix)

The much-loved indie cornerstone, MGMT, has just remixed Metronomy's most popular release to date, "The Look."

Taking the track in a decidedly more spaced-out direction, it's the type of song I'd happily drive along the coastline with, prepared at any moment, to take off and make my way to the moon.

"The Look" featured on Metronomy's third album, The English Riviera, which they plan to take on tour for its 10th anniversary in 2022. The album will also be reissued to include six unreleased tracks. The English Riviera 10th Anniversary Edition is available for pre-order here.

*Very much a side note but I just learned where this comes from so I thought to share before you go on with your day:

Newspapers used to print in the mornings and, occasionally, if there was breaking news during the day, print another edition that day - an "extra". Newspaper hawks would advertise this by saying "Extra! Extra! Read all about it." The very existence of an extra edition meant that something important was going on.
