Why do we like this?

Michelle Blades is a Panamanian/Mexican with a finesse for the whole post-punk thing. The rolling drums. The lazily angst vocals. The everything.

"Politic!" is a ride. Definitely reminding me of Parquet Courts, who released one of my favorite albums from last year. So, to Michelle and her band, I welcome you into my life with open arms. 

Her track also features on a rock playlist that was designed to make tackling this week, and existential dread that much easier.
