Why do we like this?

I have been following (and fan-girling) over Sydney based producer and multi-instrumentalist Milan Ring (FKA as Milan) for a few years now, posting her in various playlists around the site.

Imagine my excitement when I saw “Unbounded”​ pop up in my SoundCloud feed -- and two different versions of it, no less. 

Milan’s signature sound is a carefully orchestrated balance between the analogue and digital worlds, blending live percussion with electronic drums and synths with her raw guitar takes. Her production dances between moods and elements whilst her dynamic vocals bounce from low earthy raps to luscious harmonies -- truly toting her as an RnB artist to watch.

“Unbounded" as an ode to music, and the energy that represents music & creativity... When I have tapped into that energy, it truly feels as if there are no limitations
