Why do we like this?

This Scandinavian songstress dropped her debut single "Pilgrim" a couple months back with positive fanfare, and with the way music is these days, it's safe to assume that someone was going to remix it.

Cue MS MR, and their take on "Pilgrim."  Their wonderful workings take on an interesting new landscape of 80s influence, with a slow jam aesthetic that is easy to vibe to and perfect for a commencement to the weekend. Thanks to this New York troupe, this version takes the original to a more polished level with silky beats and smooth productions, leaving my mind blown and my ears satisfied.

Pilgrim 7" will be out February 25, 2013 via Chess Club/Neon Gold. Holla holla holla holla.
