Why do we like this?
OceaaÌn may be one of the best remixers of today. His newest remixed gem is Danish pop singer MØ's "XXX 88."
OceaaÌn has the ability to take whatever song he pleases and turn it inside out. He brings the downtempo, atmospheric swirls that may sometimes be missing from the original track. That doesn't mean that his recreations aren't danceable. Quite the opposite, actually. OceaaÌn's flavor within his remixes brighten up any song and launches it to a cathartic level. MØ's "XXX 88" is a perfect example of that.
OceaaÌn still remains a mystery to me, for the most part. I never know when I'm going to get a new song from him but when I do, he always comes through. Stay tuned for more!
