Why do we like this?
Saturday is a great day for some downtempo trip-hop. So when Luxembourg-based duo Monphona popped up my radar today, it didn't take much to convince me they deserved a spot as Song of the Day.
A collaboration between DJ and Producer Philippe Schirrer and singer-songwriter Claudine Muno, Monophona recently released their first album The Spy, which you can listen to and purchase on Bandcamp. The highlight for me has to be this gentle track "Give Up," which strikes a beautiful balance between electronic and acoustic elements.
