Why do we like this?

I have no idea where I stumbled upon this song. I don’t remember Shazaming it. It wasn’t recommended to me. I don’t know where I was when I first heard it. This almost never happens, but today I have the supreme honor of sharing it with you.

Mood Robot is the three-piece party from Los Angeles who have recorded three releases to date. The most recent, The Story We Tell Ourselves, dropped only a few weeks ago.

“Drip” is a relaxing, dare I say aloof, indie pop track that will have you aching for Sunday morning. The song is delightfully cool. I don’t doubt it will be narrating some commercial for a bubbly summer soda or boho festival dress you can’t really afford.

The song is great. This band is new. Tell your friends where you heard it first.
