Why do we like this?

London-based Murlo is perhaps the most exciting producer to come out of the new wave of grime, incorporating ideas from soca and dancehall to create some of the most fun and melodic tracks the genre has yet produced.

"Dripstone (The Chase Scene)" features Murlo in sadboy mode, with moody sounding synth work perfect for a November release. The beatless track almost feels as though it's been slowed down, like grime in slow motion, and is definitely one for home listening rather than club purposes. It just goes to show the virtually limitless forms grime can take, and why Murlo is one of the genre's key innovators.

You can get "Dripstone (The Chase Scene)" as part of the Into Mist EP, which is out now on Rinse.
