New Mantra Manzoni

Almost one year has passed since New Mantra burst onto the scene with a single that featured Lana Del Rey's vocal tracking from "Born To Die." Clearly, some of the song's success rode on Lana, which put all the more pressure on Sam Cooper to perform when it came to future releases.

Fortunately, it's clear that New Mantra's success was more than just a fluke. Case in point: today's premiere of a new track titled "Manzoni."

The dreamy single features sporadic vocal samples over a chilled out, ambient backing track. The result borders something between chillwave and modern beat-smithing, the net effect of which is thoroughly easy on the ears.
