Animal Collective Debuts Track From Forthcoming EP, The Painters

Animal Collective members Geologist and Avey Tare recently performed a DJ set to kick off San Francisco's Noise Pop Music Festival.  During the show, fans at the Cal Academy were treated to an as of yet unreleased Animal Collective song.  Behold in all its wacky glory:

According to one particularly vigilant member of the Animal Collective fan community (via Reddit), after Shazam-ing the song, the title is "Kinda Bokers" (fitting, right?) and it's from a forthcoming EP entitled, The Painters. Let the wild release date speculation begin!  

Our bets are sometime in May, coinciding with AnCo's new round of tour dates behind 2016's album, Painting With.
