Autograf, the Chicago-based future house trio, took to Billboard today to announce their debut EP, Future Soup. The title track’s cover art boasts a neon allusion to Andy Warhol’s famed Campbell’s Tomato Soup, maintaining the group’s distinctive artistic approach in pairing their sonic creations with physical, visual artistry.
Operating under the notion that mainstream EDM has lost its connection to visual art and fashion, Autograf aims to once again imbue the genre with these disremembered elements.
On their upcoming EP, “Future Soup is our calling to everyone to weave their own story, to make their own metaphorical art series, whatever that may be.”
Future Soup is slated for independent release on March 11. The titular single, featuring vocalist Patrick Baker, is available for streaming now - listen below. ().
