M83's Anthony Gonzalez has announced that his search for a new female vocalist and keyboard player for a world tour is over, after finding one Kaela Sinclair to fill the role.

As we reported last month, the electronic powerhouse, who have just announced a brand new album, was searching for a new member to fill ex-keyboardist Morgan Kibby's shoes.

"It was really difficult to choose a new singer for the band," @m83news tweeted, "but when I saw @kaelasinclair it was obvious she would be perfect! *A."

Sinclair will head out on the road with the L.A-based French band starting in New Orleans on April the 6th, and ending in Budapest at Sziget Festival on August 15th.

This isn't the first time that Gonzalez has sourced band members from his online audience either; multi-instrumentalist Jordan Lawlor was found at 19 years of age in 2011 through a similar competition for a tour and remains with the band.

M83's new album Junk is set for release on April 8th.
