Good Island is a brand new Melbourne-based immersive arts and music festival set to showcase some of Australia’s strongest artistic talents performing collaborative cross-disciplinary performances.
A joint initiative of Australian music companies Good Manners and Wondercore Island (in collaboration with Niche Productions and i-D), the Good Island Festival will take place across four stages in Melbourne, Australia, on February 4th.
The inaugural Good Island Festival challenges the traditional festival format, as each artist on the line-up will be performing twice throughout the one-day festival. One set will be a traditional live-set performance, whilst the second will feature either an experimental or collaborative performance. Some of the venue spaces are also unconventional, revitalizing the regular festival experience into something unique to the city of Melbourne.
Nai Palm, songwriter and all-round powerhouse from two-time Grammy-nominated band Hiatus Kaiyote, will headline the festival. Melbourne duo Kllo will also be performing a live DJ set, having just returned to Australia after a successful tour of Europe and America late last year. The line-up also features the likes of LUCIANBLOMKAMP and Oscar Key Sung.
