New Gorillaz Album Humanz Out April 28th

Yeah yeah, you've all known it was coming for quite some time, but now we have definitive proof: Gorillaz will be releasing a new album called Humanz on April 28th.

The release is set to feature an all-star cast including Mavis Staples, Vince Staples (yeah, that's right -- two Staples), Danny Brown (can't wait to hear how that sounds), De La Soul, Grace Jones and a whole lot more. There's a healthy mix of classic and new; I reckon it should make for a few interesting listens.

Damon will be premiering four tracks this evening on BBC1 at 19:30 UK time, and I believe (unfortunately) that I won't be able to get online for that event. Rest-assured, there'll probably be a whole lot of music circulating within the next few hours...
