It's that time of year again over on the Best Coast – summer. "Cough cough" - Karl The Fog. For us San Franciscans that means Outside Lands Music Festival is finally upon us. And I'll beg to argue that it's the best damn music festival out there. The three day festival in Golden Gate Park on August 11th - 13th has a genre-rich list of musicians that span over seven stages, a culinary walk on cloud-nine that includes the finest taste of the Bay, and a stroll through Beer and Wine Lands to keep the mojo flowing. What else could you want? Mini golf course? Got it. Choco(late) Lands? Yep. Cheese Lands? Uh huh. Bacon Lands? You know it. Food trucks? Got em. Live art installations? Yep, count it. There's a few other gems such as Gastro Magic where comedy, music, and fanfare mix together with culinary delights. Mr. Wonderful, Action Bronson, and Chef Chris Consentino, to name a few, are expected to make guest appearances. I'm sure there'll be a few knee slaps and dabs to go around.

This year marks the 10th anniversary, so I thought I would mix up this pre-festival post and recommend my top pairings. That is, music and food pairings. I've decided to sort out a 3-course pairing for each day. And while the number of pairings are astronomical and debatable, these are just a few to get you in the right direction.
