As a music lover it's weird to say that I've never been to a festival of this magnitude before (living in South Africa has its downs). Fast forward a few months since the initial line-up announcement and now I'm sitting in an apartment in downtown Barcelona. 

However, not everything is dandy here on the east coast of Spain there has been some news that has kept me up from my allotted siesta. As you may have heard already, Frank Ocean has pulled out of playing his Friday set at Primavera Sound. You know who isn't worried though? The event's organizers, they've brought in Jamie xx as Ocean's stand-in.

That's like swapping Mark McGuire for Sammy Sosa or Barry Bonds. Different players, but no one is complaining. Oh, and if they are complaining they're welcome to exchange their tickets on Primavera's website.

We love you Frank, but we also love you Jamie. So below you'll find a playlist that favors Jamie xx, but also has some Frank Ocean in it.
