Bon Iver, the incredible indie folk band, has been quiet since their third album, 22, A Million which was released in 2016. With no word coming from the band regarding new music, a mysterious Instagram post could be hinting at something new, something exciting.

Bon Iver's Instagram Video

Bon Iver is not new to posting odd things on Instagram, however, the band has recently posted something a little more out of the usual – it's a silent video of a sheet waving in the wind. It looks like a constructed photo shoot, nothing like their normal random snaps. Could this mean a music video is on the way? Quite possibly! Have a look:

With no aforementioned album or single on the way, perhaps this is hinting at a B-side track being released. (Hint: A B-side track is an individual song or set of tracks that were recorded at the same time as an album yet weren't included in the album.) These are often released separately and sometimes as a compilation. Either way, as a single or album, the prospect of hearing anything new (but actually old) from Bon Iver is very exciting.

Bon Iver Tour

Bon Iver have announced their US tour dates for 2017, so make sure to catch them if they're coming your way. And if you haven't heard of them before, listen to some of their music below (you're guaranteed to love it.)
