Ahoy! The return of Treasure Island Music Festival (TIMF) has come and gone and it was a good one.  There's no doubt the views of San Francisco's skyline were epic, the sunsets were vibrant, and the music lived up to the hype, but now that the dust has settled, here's some things you missed.

For me, Saturday was all about the duo's, with Polo & Pan being a huge favorite, while Silk City (Diplo & Mark Ronson) and Laff Trax (Toro y Moi & Nosaj Thing) helped ignite the day. Other than A$AP Rocky being fashionably late, he ended the night with all the fire and flames.

Sunday was thought to be the more mellower day with the lineup leaning heavy on indie rock artists, but in the end Tame Impala and Jungle could not have energized the place any more.  Even the Warriors Dance Mom made a special appearance to show off her moves.

At the end of the day, TIMF has a beautiful new home and the weekend was a success. The only bad taste we had from the weekend was that the grounds were all dirt. Yeah; we Bay Area folks are spoiled by all the other festivals around here with plush, grassy settings. We look forward to seeing the masses grow next year and join for the 12th year of TIMF. Cheers to Noise Pop & Another Planet for throwing it down. See ya next year, matey!
