Two Door Cinema Club's new album is set for release later in 2019. The group from Northern Ireland have made it known via a teaser video (below) that their 4th studio album is almost ready. The forty second video features aesthetics and sounds true to Two Door Cinema Club that includes fruit, microwaves, a set of lady hands, and lots of clocks -- the music accompanying it all, which we can assume is from Two Door Cinema Club, has a Foals meets Friendly Fires sound to it.

The fervor that has followed the video comes as no surprise given that fans across the globe have been waiting since 2016's Gameshow for new music. Notably during the clip numerous clocks are featured in a painstakingly suggestive manner. It's causing a real buzz amongst followers about when Two Door Cinema Club's new album is actually going to be released.

There are some pretty spectacular theories about the significance of the clocks' readings. Probably the most glaring evidence of a release date hint is as drawn out on Two Door Cinema Club's fan club website Basementpeople.com:

We have this 5 59 that turns to TD C5, and then later on from 10 59 to TD C6, then from 10 59 to TDCC, and finally from 6 59 to 2019. What’s that all about? Could 5 and 6 mean the months of May or June? Should we be adding 5 and 6 meaning the new album is coming in November? That seems a bit late… What do you think?

Considering the band would organize their dates based on the European standard of DD/MM/YYYY, the TDC5 followed by TDC6, is likely the 5th of June -- which is poised just before the Northern hemisphere's festival season kicks off.

To be honest, it's a bit of a tough one to pin down, and I've got numbers scribbled all over a page trying to track the amount of times the lady hand touches each telephone. I'm going to call my search here, but for those still in pursuit there's a frame in the video that features 6 clocks with the times 10:00, 8:40, 9:35, 9:55, 2:08, and 4:39 on them. That could totally mean something.

If you've also given up with your search for a higher meaning there's one theory that I believe we can all agree with:
