Why do we like this?
If it seems like ages since we last covered Werkha, that's because it has been. More than two years, to be precise.
Fortunately he's back with a new remix that caught our attention. The subject matter is Nubiyan Twist's "Straight Lines," off the London-based 12-piece's recently released self-titled album (yep, that's a lot of hyphens).
The result is a serving of delicious trip-hop, from start to end. Clearly it's a welcome return from Werkha, and a fantastic introduction to Nubiyan Twist.
If you want to hear more of their work, you can grab Nubiyan Twist here (via Wormfood Records).
