ODESZA White Lies Ft. Jenni Potts (Crush Effect Remix)

It wasn't too long ago that ODESZA remixes were a dime a dozen. Fortunately, enough time has passed to still the waters, setting up the perfect opportunity for Crush Effect to rise from the mist and take our eardrums by storm.

There's something fantastic about their rendition of "White Lies" that I feel the need to dissect: the bass line reminds me of something out of an Air song; the saxophone seemingly taken from Radiohead. Coupled with the beautiful vocals of Jenni Potts, the combination comes together to hash out one of the best remixes I've heard in days.

I only wish I could tag this well enough to generate a worthy playlist. Here's crossing my fingers!
