Why do we like this?

Resoundingly beautiful and special, rising star Ofelia K's recent "Another World" marks a high point in her newest chapter.

The singer-songwriter who continues to lure listeners in with her specific, poignant point of view, Ofelia K's latest features her in an indie-electronica shift that calls to mind the more poppy sensibilities of other major indie talents, ie. Manila Killa and Chet Faker. It's cute, but not coy, and shows a flair for dramatics which has characterized Ofelia K's songwriting up until now.

With the release of this, and her recent EP Chaos Cave, Ofelia K once again reminds us that voices mature only when artists choose to be honest with themselves and their work. And if there's anything this young artist oozes, it's definitely honesty.
