Sounds like:
Patrick Watson,
Lost In The Trees
Why do we like this?
OWEL's new single "Razors" smacks me in the face with one obvious comparison: Patrick Watson. But not regular Patrick Watson. No no, this is Patrick Watson with beats.
"Razors" is the latest single to be released off the band's upcoming EP, following "Every Good Boy Does Fine" (unveiled two weeks ago). It caught my attention not just for its dreamy sound, but for the pulsating percussion the underpins the majority of the song.
OWEL's new EP Every Good Boy will be released 4/28 via intheclouds Records and can be ordered here.
