Why do we like this?

So I've heard a few remixes for Passion Pit's "Carried Away," but Maestro's electro infused remix is undoubtedly one of the best ones that I have come across. Maestro is, well... a MAESTRO, har har. Jokes aside, he is a 21-year-old producer from the glacier caves of Iceland, and he only has a few tracks out at the moment. By the looks of things, he has only begun producing and remixing just this year.

So let's talk about this remix, shall we? The Icelander has managed to turn Passion Pit's already positively effervescent song into a electro-funk dance party! Don't be fooled by the mild introduction -- this song explodes into life. I'm loving the way that this Maestro remix has jump-started my day. It's thoroughly upbeat, all while maintaining an unoffensive nature.

Not to put pressure on the guy, but I'm expecting more awesome remixes from him!
