Why do we like this?

Lovers of reggae rock rejoice, Pepper has a fresh new track! 

This song comes a couple of years after what many would consider the band’s most cohesive and complete self-titled album. These guys have, record after record, given us breezy and uplifting tracks that are timeless in reggae rock history. With this new release, they are further adding to their stellar collection.

“Start You Up” is a collaboration with fellow Hawaiian reggae band The Green. It gives a recognizable yet original sound. A heady bass-line dominates with Kaleo Wassman’s vocals yielding the classic Pepper-vibe. Just a touch of dub peppered in the track lets you know the guys are still keeping it fun and interesting after this many years.

We can only hope with this new release will come a new album soon. So in the meantime, check their tour dates --  they are all over the country in 2016!
