Why do we like this?
Apparently when one Aussie band tackles another Aussie band you get something that sounds quite like Miike Snow. And given it's been eons since we last heard from Miike Snow, I'm more than happy to be hearing these types of tunes.
Pigeon released "Curtain Call" back in July on Stoney Roads, and while the song failed to pop up on my radar back then, Sun City have garnered my complete attention.
On this remix, they've refined numerous elements of the original, producing a perfect pop gem that highlights the fantastic melody. The end result is an infectious indie pop song, the likes of which could give Miike Snow a run for their money.
