An unbelievable three days at Cape Town Electronic Music Festival wrapped up with stellar performances from Four Tet, Culoe De Song, and Octave One. The diversity of these artists lends an idea to how beautifully scripted this music festival actually is: Four Tet, a Brit with a knack for mashing weird noises; Culoe De Song, a South African house music icon; and finally Octave One, the Detroit house duo legends.
This intense mix on the final eve was evident throughout. I tip my hat to HVOB, Jumping Back Slash, DJ Spoko & Mujava, Mr. Carmack, and all the other artists who gave everyone there a weekend to remember.
