Dirtybird Campout has become the cream of the crop of camping festivals, and they've just moved that crop closer to a beautiful lake near Yosemite and the Tuolumne River in the Modesto Reservoir Campgrounds. The new location is just a bit east of the SF bay area, placing it in a perfect location for refuge from the day-to-day city life, while keeping it as accessible as it gets for Northern and Southern campers alike.
The Campout last year offered over fifty activities, and that's not even including the stacked lineup. You saw everything from arts to arching, kickball to karaoke, corn hole to comedy, and even some drunken dodgeball games went down. On the dance floor you were able to catch Matthew Dear, Danny Daze, Eats Everything, DJ Deeon, DJ Funk, Desert Hearts’ Mikey Lion & Porkchop, Mija, dOP, Tennyson, Egyptian Lover, DJ Marky, Madam X, araabMUZIK, Benji B, EPROM & Alix Perez as Shades, Jesse Rose, Gene Farris, Lauren Lane, Denney, Sonny Fodera, and of course the Dirtybird Head Counselors took the stage to provide some very special moments from Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, J.Phlip, Ardalan, Christian Martin, and Worthy.
