This coming Monday, December 15, Sonar will be gracing the steep shores of Cape Town with an event to rival most of its international counterparts. The two-day festival comes packed with educational workshops and banging parties featuring an elite cast of respected locals and esteemed internationals
The dates December 15-16 hold a more important meaning to the country who has suffered from a troubled past. The Day of Reconciliation, as was the name given to it in 1994, is a day that is meaningful to both the Afrikaner and African cultures and was therefore deemed a worthy date to remember our past and unite in the future.
As the attendees will bare witness to this coming week, Sonar, which will be housed in the Goodhope Center, will play host to a diverse crowd of avid music followers and musicians all uniting in what we down here in Africa do best: dance.
