Now that Parenthood is finally back from its mid-season hiatus, I thought I would celebrate by remembering some of the highlights from the second half of the first season. Despite the fact that the first season is only thirteen episodes, the last half did not disappoint. As we got to know the Braverman family even better, we saw a host of new issues popping up. Like with most families, dysfunction continues to follow the Braverman gang as they learn that being a parent is just as hard as being a kid. Growing up and parenting doesn't come easy, as Adam tries to deal with the failures of of his dad while both he and Crosby figure out what it means to be dads themselves. Sarah also deals with her own parenting skills while she watches her daughter make many of the same mistakes that she has made. One thing remains constant: music continues to play an important role in Parenthood Season 1 -- music supervisor Liza Richardson continues to pick out some great indie folk to introduce to the masses. Just as the characters blend various generations, artists like Ray LaMontagne, Josh Rouse, and Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors give us a fresh taste of old school folk with some modern twists. Make sure to set your DVR to record Parenthood on Tuesday nights on NBC, and reminisce  on your childhood with the following tracks...
