This past week I celebrated seven years of writing for Indie Shuffle. Going all the way back to January 16th, 2012 my first post was a playlist of songs from the show Scrubs.
It's crazy to look back on all of the playlists (274 of them) and reviews (207 and counting) that I have put together over all of the years. It's like a musical time capsule that I can go back and explore...see what I was listening to and in many cases from Sunday Night Chill see what was going on in my life.
Of all of these numbers from my writing at Indie Shuffle I think the most astonishing is 5,291,096. That's how many plays tracks I have put up have gotten. It all kind of blows my mind. My only hope is that through these years some positivity has been passed through the tunes, some hope on a bad day, and most important and ongoing love of music.
I want to thank Jason for giving me this chance way back in 2012, and helping me grow as a music lover.
