A while back I was talking with a family member about how I play guitar. She told me that to her anyone playing any sort of instrument is a super power. This really took me back as I had never really thought about it that way, it's just something that has really always been a part of my life.
Fast forward to this week, and I began to attempt to teach myself how to play piano. It's something I've wanted to pick-up for a long time and what better time than now. Five minutes in, my hands were aching, I was frustrated, and my heart was starting to hurt. I was beginning to realize what exactly it mean for playing an instrument to be like a super power.
Tonight's Sunday Night Chill focuses on some tracks filled with beautiful instrumentation. These producers truly do have a super power and show it with how they incorporate instruments into an otherwise electronic filled world.
