After a super dry winter in New Mexico, the monsoon has finally come into effect brining some much needed rain to the desert.
For a desert rat like myself, there is something magical about storm clouds swooning over the city as you start to watch lightning fire off in the distance. In minutes the weather turning from unbearable, oppressive heat to a full on hail clunking thunderstorm, and all the way back to dry in just under 20 minutes.
This is truly one of mother nature's greatest displays and I am thankful to get to witness it every summer.
Tonight's Sunday Night Chill looks to catch a little bit of that magic with a few tracks to soundtrack a monsoon storm.
Enjoy!
