Over the last few weeks I have been enjoying quite possibly one of the most amazing birthday gifts I've ever received. My wife decided to surprise me with a brand new U-Turn Audio turntable to replace my 1980 something Audio Technics that was high past replacing time.
While not only is the sound quality amazing on the new turntable, one of my favorite features of the player is the clear dustcover. Sadly my old record player simply hid whatever record was playing, completely shutting off my sense of vision while I listened.
I am not sure I have eve realized just how beautiful a record is while it simply spins in circles. Throw on a painstakingly splattered piece of vinyl and something magical happens.
For night's Sunday Night Chill, I have tried to recreate this with a few choice tracks sure to stimulate all of your senses.
