SXSW Film and Interactive begin this Friday, and while the music portion of the festivities don't officially begin until next Tuesday, we're here to set the mood and get you hyped for all the musical glory that lies ahead.
The first event I plan to attend is Heard Entertainment and PayPal's Music Tech Mashup event at Empire Control Room & Garage on Tuesday, March 17. It's a lovely tribute to Austin, featuring performances from hometown heroes like Shakey Graves, Gary Clark Jr., Wild Child (who'll also be at Indie Shuffle's showcase with Roll Call Records), and more.
