If anyone's caught the Netflix series Rapture there's no doubting the episode featuring New York rap legend Nas and up-and-coming star Dave East is the best of the six part series. Nas has knighted East as the future of NY rap and the former basketball prodigy displays his lyrical prowess on latest single "NYCHA."
Taken from the soundtrack to Rapture the track also features Nas dropping one of his best verses in a long time, with the two working supremely well together over the soulful piano laced production. With Nas readying his eleventh album and East working on his long awaited debut, this snapshot of the two's talents will have hip-hop fans mouth's watering in anticipation for both artist's projects.
