Why do we like this?

Hartlepool teens PLAZA have announced the release of their debut self-titled EP with new single "Deep In My Head."

The track is another reverb heavy driven showcase of moody pop ending in a crescendo of psychotic guitars, pummelling percussion and Brad Lennard’s distorted vocals.

“The essence of "Deep In My Head" is around mental health and how it can manipulate you into a completely different person to what you you once were," says Brad. “It’s about being lost in your own mind, but alongside the unease and anxieties of it all, feeling that you’re set up in the right place.”

The quartet are heading out on the road in support of the release, with tour dates listed below.

7th April – Pop Recs Ltd, Sunderland
14th April – Hus, Liverpool
15th April – Stockton Calling, Stockton-on-Tees
18th April – La Belle Angele, Edinburgh
20th April – The Rocking Chair, Sheffield
21st April – Komedia, Brighton*
22nd April – Bodega, Nottingham*
23rd April – The Louisiana, Bristol*
25th April – Sound Control, Manchester*
26th April – Courtyard Theatre, London*
29th April – Live at Leeds, Leeds

PLAZA is set for release April 14.
