El Ten Eleven Cease And Persist

I'll admit that I hadn't heard of El Ten Eleven until just recently. I was a little unsure of how I would feel about their new album since they don't directly fall inside my music circle (if I even have one).

I'm glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone, because I love discovering new things that make me happy, and It's Still A Secret does a fine job of creating some positive energy.

My typical taste is for instrumental electronic music with uplifting riffs and a laid-back vibe. El Ten Eleven creates a similar atmosphere from a post-rock perspective and the sound is quite refreshing.

Their newest release It's Still a Secret comes out November 9, but the band has been distributing copies during their latest tour so plenty of tracks have been making the rounds online. "Cease And Persist" is my favorite of the bunch and I hope that it gets you groovin' like it did for me. I always know when a song keeps my head bobbing for the entire piece that it's something worth talking about, so I encourage you to pick up a copy of the album when it comes out in a couple weeks because the rest of the songs that I've heard are just as good.
