I had an ear infection that had my left ear feeling clogged for about a month. Yes, you read that right -- my left ear was clogged, as if I had water in it, for one, whole, month.
Anyway, the day before getting the ear infection, I ran across this gem. Take a listen.
What I love about Ria is her raw singing ability. It's quite beautiful in this particular ballad, titled "Outer Space."
The minimalist production is almost non-existent the deeper you get sucked into her voice. Her raspiness exuding youth, the lyrics defiantly showcasing experience.
Ria's delivery is excellent. The gingerly layered chorus perfect in pitch, tone and texture. It's authentic, it's unique and it's just right.
Get at me Ria. I'd love to work together soon.
