I recently admitted to myself that I have a love affair with SoundCloud and with what is becoming an era for the "SoundCloud producer." So it's no surprise that I'm absolutely besotted with River Tiber's music -- you should be, too!
Before you read on: dim the lights, grab a pair of your best headphones, and let this slow burner wash over you.
There is nothing I love more than moody production, soulful vocals, and some top-notch bedroom production. People are making masterpieces amidst their piles of dirty washing and coffee cups, and I love the idea of it all.
"No Talk" could probably be described as a downtempo track, yet it is dense, multilayered, and a perfect accompaniment for what I'm told is going to be a depressing winter in Berlin. The doubled, pitched vocal, prominent drum beats, tortured oohs, and layers of his soulful vocal build and build to create a thing of sheer beauty -- modern, electronic R&B at its best.
Head on over to his SoundCloud and listen to his other tracks, too.
