Why do we like this?

RL Grime (known to some as Clockwork) released Void, his first LP, this week. The album features a few collaborations with Big Sean and Djemba Djemba, in addition to the number of original tracks by the trap giant himself.  

The emotive How To Dress Well also threw down on the single "Reminder" which combines Grimes' talent for melodic, slower trap beats with the decadently shill, 90s R&B throwback vocals from HTDW. The slow bass line is fortified by sporadic hi-hat interludes and a chorus of angelic vocals melting into the background. Beautiful piano notes tie this atmospheric package together, allowing listeners to drift through the entirety of the track.
