Why do we like this?

Singer-songwriter Robyn Sherwell recently supported two Indie Shuffle favorites of mine: Sophie Jamieson and Allman Brown at the latter’s EP launch in London.

Hailing from the tiny island of Guernsey, Sherwell cites Fink, Bat For Lashes, Sia, James Blake, and Jamie Woon as influences, and it’s clear that undertones of each artist run through the lush, downtempo vibes of “Low.”

Brimming with murmured, honey-sweet vocals and swelling melodies, this is a hazy piece of electro pop that makes for perfect late night listening.
