Why do we like this?
a Soft Release
RY X drops a comforting and moving exploration of detachment with "Let You Go" — a masterclass in design and RY X's identity in the chill electronic space.
Imagine how blown away I was when "Let You Go" started in my ears and I was met with a new and fresh sound by RY X. It's a bumpy soft electronic anthem with pullbacks and drops reminiscent of a club track - but slowed down and refined.
The enigmatic singer has always been on the front of the indie chill space but has shown a sense of self progression and perfection in their art, by releasing a track that's so immensely familiar and altogether different in design and direction.
