Why do we like this?

Sam Dian possesses one of those unique and addicting voices that makes you feel oddly satisfied, like those videos of people cutting soap. He's influenced by funk and jazz, plus I can hear a bit of young Stevie Wonder in the vocals there as well.

Funky bass riffs lay the foundation of the instrumentals, guiding the delightful progression of the song. I believe the lyrics are saying, "It's sailing. his boat, across our dreams, finding new goals." You have to love an indietronica song that also teaches the listeners an important life lesson. Double whammy.

Blue Desire is the first album released by the Parisian artist. An exciting feat so definitely give him a listen.
