If you aren't yet familiar with Aussie duo Set Mo, chances are that's going to change fairly soon. "White Dress" is their latest single, with a lot more planned throughout 2015.
Featuring Australia-via-UK-based Deutsch Duke (I posted about his track "Battleground" last week) the song has a subdued, chilled atmosphere and all sorts of lovely electro-soul melodies and instrumental layers. The song begins carefully, with each layer entering one by one, giving you plenty of time to get into the groove. Rising and falling in gentle waves throughout, airy vocal loops add a lovely ambient vibe, while the driving bass carries the house beats along.
Reportedly penned in London after the pair spent a week in Ibiza, the track was inspired by "great music, bronzed skin and golden beaches."
They've done a great job in that respect -- it totally does evoke that sun-kissed summer feeling.
