Why do we like this?

Swedish label Studio Barnhus have recently released a four track EP featuring 'dubb versions' of some of their previous releases.

As they explain:

"Since we were apes the need for the dubb version
has been as important as the beer we drink to stay
alive. Now the time has come for some of our
favorite songs to to be dubbed up by some of our
favorite knob fiddlers. This is the age of fun,
where old dreams come to die - this is the age of the
dubb!"

A particular highlight is Swedish house-master Axel Boman's deliciously deep, eleven-and-a-half minute take on Shakarchi & Stranéus' "Mogadishu". You can get that, and the rest of the Dubbel Dub EP here.
