Following up his Billboard charting release with "Takes My Body Higher" featuring Lincoln Jesser, L.A.-based singer, songwriter, and producer Alex Shofler, aka Shoffy, is back with new single “Up Here."
I first stumbled across his gorgeous, take-me-to-bed vocals through his collaboration with Theodor on "Ride" last year, and have been a fan ever since.
On this track, heartfelt vocals soar over the flamenco-esque guitar, which, combined with the distinctly European house beat, makes for a unique and captivating track. Powerful, forlorn lyrics drive the message home, making it truly relatable: "is it worth the love if you got the fall, 10 stories high and no one to call. its so lonely up here."
Shoffy will have a new EP coming out in the next month or so -- follow him on Facebook and SoundCloud for more news on that.
