Why do we like this?

While South African experimental electronic visionary Sibot grinds hard on a spanking new album in the Cape Town Red Bull Studios, an EP titled Arc Eyes gives us mind-warping synth sauce in the interim.

"Nice Shandee's" features Okmalumkoolkat, a Durban boy with his finger on the pulse of futuristic kwaito. 

Sibot, known to myself as the heavyweight champion of the Cape Town electronic music scene, will be representing at Sonar this year. 

On the whole, Arc Eyes is a slick EP with ample bass and the endearing quality of blurring the lines between the genres of disco, kwaito, trap, and dance. Jump on it here.
